Gazela Open for Tours at Inner Harbor

Gazela's volunteer crew braves August's blazing sun to sail south and visit Baltimore's Inner Harbor. The Gazela, the unique wooden barkentine, will be open for a limited appearance, visiting during Baltimore's Jazz Festival.

Schedule:
August 10: 2 - 5 pm, 7 - 9 pm
August 11: 10 - 4 pm, 6 - 9 pm
August 12: 10 - 2 pm

Fees:
Suggestion donations $5 for deck tour, $10 for below decks tour.
Deck tours consist of guided explanations of the Gazela's history as a Grand Banks Fishing Ship, the life of the crew and how to catch 350 tons of fish.
Below-decks tours show her massive hold, a glimpse of the keel at the bottom of the ship, and the crew's quarters.
Below-decks tours require the ability to climb down steep stairs. The ship is not wheelchair accessible.
