Ship Preservation Guild Ships. The barkentine Gazela, the tug Jupiter, and the barge Poplar are located at the North end of Penns Landing (Columbus Blvd. and Market st). Penn's Landing charges a parking fee between $8 and $15, depending on the time of year. There are metered spaces on Columbus and the overpasses. Office. The Office is Located in the Penns Landing Administration building at the South End of Penns Landing, 301 South Columbus Blvd, Penn's Landing Operations and Visitor's Center, 2nd Floor. Directions: From the north:Take I-95 South to the Penn's Landing, Columbus Blvd exit (Exit 20). Turn left at the traffic light (Columbus). Pass the Hyatt Hotel (on right). You may turn right at either the first or second traffic light and head towards the north end of the parking lot. the South:Take I-95 North to the Penn's Landing exit (exit 20). Turn left at the traffic light (Columbus). Pass the Coast Guard station, the Hyatt Hotel and turn into Penn's Landing parking lot. the West:Take I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) to I-676 East (Vine Street Expressway). Follow the exit for the Ben Franklin Bridge/New Jersey/6th Street, and stay in the right lanes at the bottom of the ramp. After turning right, get in the left lane for the next traffic light (do not go to New Jersey). Turn Left on Race Street. Follow Race until it dead ends at Columbus. Turn Right. Turn Left at the next traffic light (Market Street). Go to booth, pay to park, look for the ships. |
